Ivan Reitman, the director of many blockbuster comedy films, including Ghostbusters, has died at the age of 75.
In a statement made by his family, it was stated that Reitman died while sleeping at his home in California.
His children said in a statement: “It is our greatest consolation that his films bring laughter and happiness to people around the world.”
The 1984 film Ghostbusters, which grossed more than $200 million worldwide, brought Reitman to global recognition.
