Kungme Kim was born in 1963 in South Korea.
The 30M work “Different Type, Combined” expresses a multi-ethnic country in which various ethnic groups flow into Turkiye and form a country.

The Rising Sun, the 20M work, prays for the day when Turkiye, which is also the beginning of the east, will achieve prosperity and live well in the country.

Blessing of Asana” is a newly created piece for my exhibition in Turkey. In preparation for the Adana exhibition, I immersed myself in the rich history and mythology of Turkey, discovering the captivating legend of the blue she-wolf and her ten sons. Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes and warm climate of Adana, I portrayed ‘Asana,’ the ancestral wolf mother of the Turkish people, amidst the vibrant blossoms and hues of spring, symbolizing the birth of all life. The luminous opal points descending from the heavens represent the vital energy showering upon Adana, signifying a blessing of life. I believe that the beautiful myths of this land will serve as a powerful source of strength for Turkey’s continued prosperity.

Artist: HAEKEUNG PARK

HAEKEUNG PARK

Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1960.
The focus of my work has always been nature and people. By projecting the ecosystem of living beings in nature into the lives of human beings, who are part of nature, we recognize the essential principles of nature and examine the philosophy of life.

Throughout my life, living beings that have given meaning to me by accident or necessity have been the main subjects of my artworks. For example, grass swaying in the wind, schools of young fish.

Turkiye is a wonderful country where many different ethnic groups and cultures have harmoniously blended their own characteristics. It means that it will flourish and prosper even more freely.

Artist HAEKEUNG PARK expressed his lenticulum technique using brushstrokes with acrylic paints.

Artist DONGHWA CHOI expresses the background of ancient Turkish culture with a modern feel, and uses wolves as a theme to create a romantic atmosphere.
