After our insightful interview with South Korean pianist and composer Yeonjoon Yoon on Gazete Sanat and Gazete Sanat World, he is now unveiling two exciting new projects!
The first project, “Open the Door: Part I”, is a collaboration with multimedia artist and composer Ebe Oke. This work envisions a world without boundaries—where divisions between individuals, cultures, and the spiritual and material dissolve. Blending piano and electronics, it creates a unique electroacoustic dialogue that merges minimalist elegance with bold maximalism.
The second project, “Études Project: Triptych I”, reflects Yoon’s artistic vision. This EP embarks on a journey from Chopin’s classical étude, transitions through Philip Glass’s modern originality, and concludes with Yoon’s own composition. Inspired by the UK Garage beat and Korean painter Sangnam Lee’s artistic process, this work redefines the pursuit of precision in a digital age.
