Summer Art Event by Hiromita Project and Holocraft Physiotherapy Center

Holocraft Physiotherapy Center hosted a unique summer event that brought together physical well-being, inner transformation, and artistic expression. The event featured a site-specific participatory installation by the international interdisciplinary platform Hiromita Project, founded by Turkish-Taiwanese contemporary artist ANQI.

Set in Holocraft’s outdoor garden, the installation transformed the space into a reflective sanctuary centered on healing and creative potential. At its heart stood the “Inner Home Tent,” a symbol of personal refuge and self-connection. Dressed in vibrant textures and summer hues, the tent welcomed visitors into a contemplative, intimate atmosphere.

A question inscribed on a mirror invited deep reflection:

“With what you’ve gained from Holocraft, what dream are you ready to bring to life?”

Participants responded by tying hand-selected fabric strips to symbolic fisherman’s nets surrounding the tent. Each gesture became a visual expression of personal intention—bridging physical recovery with imagination and aspiration.

Hiromita, ANQI’s original character inspired by the Chinese wamao (rooftop guardian cat), served as the installation’s quiet guide. A companion on the journey inward, Hiromita embodies transformation, inner listening, and the courage to live authentically.

The collaboration with Hiromita Project was made possible through the visionary leadership of Dilba Kılıç, founding director of Holocraft. Her commitment to holistic healing and openness to creative partnerships allowed this intersection of physiotherapy and participatory art to take form.

“Creativity needs a healthy body. A well-integrated body supports inner transformation and expression—and artistic practice, in turn, heals the body,” says ANQI, who has received ongoing support from Holocraft since 2022 for both chronic pain management and recovery following large-scale art projects.

The installation now continues as the “Hiromita Corner of Intentions,” open throughout the summer at Holocraft. Visitors are invited to add their written intentions to this symbolic space—contributing to an evolving collective ritual of healing, reflection, and transformation.
