Curated by Songül Ataklı, the “Physician Painters” exhibition opened last night with an inaugural event that brought together art enthusiasts. Bringing together works produced at the intersection of art and medicine, the exhibition showcases paintings by physicians who stand out not only with their medical expertise but also with their artistic talent.
The opening ceremony was attended by many figures from the art world and the medical community. The exhibited works reflect the doctors’ professional sensitivity and their observations on human life through an artistic lens.
Songül Ataklı, Director and Curator of Agora Art Gallery, Specialist Dr. Didem Yiğit, and Associate Professor Dr. Erdal Reşit Yılmaz shared their insights about this special exhibition with Gazete Sanat.
