The highly anticipated ARTNOUVA Art Fair opened its doors to visitors with a grand opening ceremony at ATO Congresium on October 16. The ARTNOUVA Art Fair aims to inspire art lovers and professionals by bringing together the rich dynamics of different art disciplines. The opening ceremony of the ARTNOUVA Art Fair was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Batuhan Mumcu, ATO President Gürsel Baran, as well as many former ministers, members of parliament, and prominent figures from the art community. Speaking on behalf of the ARTNOUVA Advisory Board, Prof. Dr. Hasan Pekmezci said: “October has been a time of significant events and lasting impressions since the proclamation of the Republic in 1923. October 13 is the date when Ankara became the capital; October 14 is the date when the first contemporary art exhibition was opened in Anatolia. In October, we are together with a new perspective, understanding, and art fair. I wish ARTNOUVA a very long life. Youth and the future need this.”
