Artist Arzu Sezer, who lives and works in Kuşadası, continues her education in the Painting Teaching Department at Adnan Menderes University. In her artistic practice, she brings together layered surfaces, collage, and printmaking techniques, focusing on themes of transformation and healing.
In 2022, Sezer attracted attention with her first solo exhibition titled “Astral Journey” at İbramaki Art Gallery, where she presented 31 works to art lovers. This exhibition marked a significant step in making her inner journey and artistic language visible.
Sezer’s work is not limited to exhibition spaces; one of her pieces was featured as the cover image of writer Halil Akgün’s book Stories IV. She also participated as an assistant in the International Painting Workshop organized by the Kuşadası Mehmet Nuri Göçen Foundation, where her work was selected for exhibition. Recently, she drew international attention by receiving an invitation for a solo stand at an art fair in Italy for the coming year.
Sezer is also a member of the Kuşadası Health Tourism Association and contributes to local charitable initiatives by donating a portion of the income from her artistic production.
