One of the notable names of the alternative track, Barış Çapkın’s new song “Kaybolsam da” met with music lovers with the OnAir Stage label.
Barış Çapkın, whose many songs have been published, especially for the project Olta Dayanışma, is addressing his audience with a song whose foundations were laid in 2016.
Çapkın answers why he is now publishing a song he composed 5 years ago: “My song which is called Kaybolsam da, I decided to complete the song, as the style and attitude of my song hasn’t changed over the years.”
Guitar, vocals and synths of “Even if I am lost” were recorded in Barış Çapkın’s home studio, and drums were recorded in Istanbul PÜR Studios. One of the surprises of the song is that Burak Gürpınar, whom we know from the Kurban band, plays the drums. Barış Çapkın describes Burak Gürpınar’s involvement in the song as follows: “I love the Kurban band. When I decided to record the drums of the song live, the first thing that came to my mind was Burak. I called and talked about the song then I sent the demo recording of the song. Burak also stated that he would love to play and we started recording drums.” The mastering process of the song, whose arrangements were also made by Barış Çapkın, was done by Selim Sayarı and the song “Kaybolsam da” is ready to meet with music lovers.
Another surprise of his song, Kaybolsam dat, Barış Çapkın appeared in front of the camera with his wife and child in the music video.

Barış Çapkın, who was born in Izmir in 1983, is a mechanical engineer and also a musician, started his music career at the age of 7 by playing the keyboard. Then he met the electric guitar. During his university years, he performed bar performances with the rock band “Mute”. They won awards in “2008” and “2009” in music competitions with their own compositions, but the group disbanded when their first album was about to be released.
In 2012, he decided to continue his music career alone.
