If you could buy words with money, which ones would you buy?
I would have purchased the words “religion, prophet, communism, fascism, and money” to put them out of circulation and assume that no one will ever own them anymore.
If your book was about to be published tomorrow, what would be the title?
Not tomorrow, but my next book is coming out in Turkish in a month or two. ???? I will share its name with you as soon as the cover design is complete.
Do human beings give birth to themselves?
Certainly! If the education given by your parents is lacking or you find it wrong, I can’t see a reason why you won’t be reborn by discovering your truths and renewing yourself.
From a spiritual point of view, is awakening an autopsy of being alive?
Since spiritualism improves by matter, I would see it as a biopsy rather than an autopsy. In other words, our body shows a synchronized development due to the symbiotic connection with our soul.
If you were the boss would you hire yourself?
Not in Turkey but if I lived in Germany, I would have hired myself due to my disciplined and duly work ethic, exactly as they preferred.
Something you never forget?
The day I lost my baby!
Can you put your life in front of you and stare into your eyes?
If there is anybody they can’t, they’re living in vain.

Sometimes it would be Nirvana and sometimes Pink Martini.

My Father.
What do you have in your childhood’s pockets?
My grandfather, the yellow marigolds, the moonflower field, my mother’s tears, and the dark nights.
Send a message to the person you were ten years ago.
I would advise, “Definitely see a psychiatrist, and your life will be easier.”
Which author would you like your life to be written by?
Charles Bukowski would be the one who could understand my childhood the best and would enjoy swearing and cursing while telling my story. ????
What virginal thoughts do you still have?
You are in a state of change at all times as long as you live and therefore, nothing can stay untouched.
What are your defects?
Oh, yes of course! I’m impatient and hasty. Sometimes it makes me arrogant because I can’t stand stupidity. I am working on it. ????
If it was possible to watch your life before being born, would you choose to come to this world?
It doesn’t matter what I live for. Knowing the script would have killed my excitement and joy for life in the first place – which wouldn’t have been a good thing. All I would have wanted is the necessary cycle to be completed as soon as possible for the soul to mature.
What would the child of your childhood say if she could see you now?
What parallel universe did you come from, I can’t be you!
Three questions that you would like to ask God?
If there is a God, I would have only one question. “Do you regret creating us?” or “If you wanted to make a change on us, what would you change?”

I wouldn’t want to experience anything that I knew the script of.
How do you brew your life?
I leave it to the sun. I wrap it in the clouds in the sky. I hang it on the branches of trees.
If open soul surgery could be performed, where would anesthesia be administered first?
Maybe my anxiety can be anesthetized. But then I would not be who I am now. Because the soul; cannot develop by being put to sleep. So the pain and the anxieties should remain as they are. I have to learn to cope.
The first thing that comes to your mind when you put your hand on your chest and you ask yourself ‘what do I need?’
Unfortunately, it is money ???? Although my husband and I earn enough for ourselves, I wish we had more money for the stray animals, to buy books for villages in rural areas that do not have libraries, to change the lives of orphaned children in Turkey.
Julia Ortay in three words.
Straight, honest, punctual!
You have been in Florida, United States for many years. Previously, you were white collar worker in a managerial position. In the light of your vast knowledge, the subjects you are skilled at, your identity as a writer, and most importantly, being a mother. How do you write your ‘daily damage report’ on resolutions, observations and researches?
What happened in the last two years and before that, Trump’s presidency period, caused an awakening, especially for Americans. It became clear that the press and media have been taken over by the Globalists, and that this group governs America and some other countries. This year will be important. I can say that the senator elections in the USA this November will affect the course of the world. To understand why this is so important, I think that the articles I have published on my website need to be read.
When comparing Turkey, the Turks, The United States of America, and the Americans, there are big differences. I was wondering what changed in your saddlebag as a result of your observations? (Climate, culture, adaptation, language, etc.)
The Turk has a practical mind, but this is usually due to their sneaky and cutting corners mentality. We see that life pushes people in that direction to be able to survive in Turkey. Since an established system that works in America, American people necessary don’t require or seek practical intelligence on daily basis. It’s not without its downside. For the last twenty years, I see climbing exhaustion in Turks that causes an overwhelming lack of communication and obeying everything without questions. Maybe the never-ending economic and political fight made them tired. Americans are in a way more peace of mind with their own lives on a daily basis. Apart from work, they enjoy spending weekends with their families. They are happy even with simple things. Turks these days require big changes maybe even a revolution to feel happy again. I see that family members in Turkey distancing more and more from each other. Maybe the conditions for a living are causing the circumstance. I can say that there is a huge gap between the two countries. Unfortunately, there is no way to improve Turkey just by watching or imitating the world through social media with apple i-phones and think any imitation will take you to those expected standards. A nation should not be afraid of being colorful, questioning, and being criticized. As soon as fear takes over, he won’t respect people with different beliefs and thoughts, and he finds himself in a fight of constant war.
Authors and books that you can call the top five?
Henry David Thoreau (Walden, Lonely, Civil Disobedience), Emil Cioran (The Trouble with Being Born, The Temptation to Exist, Entretiens, A Short History of Decay), Fernando Pessoa (The Book of Disquiet), Svetlana Alexievich (Secondhand Time: The Last of the Soviets) Dariush Shayegan (Injured Consciousness, Cultural Schizophrenia: Islamic Societies Confronting the West)
You have three books called Image of God, Comfort of the Spirit Stories and Elephants and Birds. What’s on the horizon for your readers?
“The Image Of God” is just released in English in America. In a few months, I will have a new Turkish novel coming that will please my readers in Turkey. It is a philosophical novel about reincarnation. It questions whether or not our choices are in our hands and destiny. The story takes place in the cities of America- Boston, Istanbul, and Çanakkale. It is about what happened between an American psychiatrist, an archaeologist, and a Turkish tourist guide.
My greatest wish that every individual who hunches under the weight of his own backpack will one day be as free as a bird. Elephants and Birds is a highly motivational book that captures the fine line between gray and blue. “Do you want to go beyond the limits and become a bird? You can do it. And why wouldn’t you! Despite everyone and everything…” you said. What would you recommend for the immune system of the soul?
We need to break our chains to cross the boundaries. That just happens when you have the courage. You will be free when you manage to get rid of the low-minded thoughts that hold you captive and the imposed way of life. A person who is not free can’t think right, can’t develop, and can’t learn enough.
People may not be always the answer to healthy social interaction. But we can’t say that for animals. There are so many stray animals in Turkey that it’s a great opportunity. I think if every person would adopt a pawed friend, it will create great improvement in his soul.
And to strengthen the immune system of our soul, we need to value nature and feel its vitality in our bones, in the energy of our lives. We must not forget that we are living being that feeds on nature both physically and spiritually.
Would you like to add any other question?
You asked from such difficult places that you didn’t leave me anything to ask. ???? Joking aside, thank you very much for such valuable, thoughtfully prepared questions. It was a very enjoyable interview for me.
